There are many reasons why companies choose Salesforce, but working with Salesforce for the fifth year, we noticed that three of them are particularly important!

Time is money and Salesforce saves time!

What makes Salesforce help you run faster?

  1. Modular structure – many basic processes in the company can be launched in the system in a few days. There are ready-made solutions, for exaple Service Cloud, which allows you to start basic customer service processes in a few days. If a company would like to enable clients to self-service or manage a network of partners – a basic community cloud implementation is enough – no need to write the system from scratch!
  2. Appexchange, i.e. applications on Salesforce downloaded almost as easily as on a smartphone – the manufacturer of the platform provides the ability to download applications prepared by partners, allowing for efficient management of various processes in the company. Some of them are paid industry-specific solutions, some are free plugins that allow you to transfer, for example, the recruitment process to the system within a few hours.
  3. Speed of development – a project that a traditional software house valued for 9 months of workload, we completed in 2. Modularity and ready-made solutions make it possible to prepare your own specific processes much faster thanks to Salesforce than in the case of dedicated turnkey solutions.

You are not dependent on the supplier and you can do a lot of things yourself!

During each of our implementations, we try to leave behind the so-called “power user” who will manage, administer and improve the system. It is possible to introduce changes yourself, and it is easy enough that a large part of Salesforce is “clickable” and not codable . Learning this is no secret as the Salesforce ecosystem is well documented:

  1. The producer of the Salesforce system itself provides over 100 multimedia courses (trailheads) intended for business, administrative and developer users
  2. There is a large community supported by the manufacturer that you can seek help from
  3. There are several hundred books on Salesforce development on Amazon alone

Of course, you should not reinvent the wheel – it is much faster and easier to start the adventure with the system with a Salesforce Partner (Poland is a market where several of them are actively operating). Due to the high standardization of the environment, if, if necessary, someone would like to change a partner – it is much easier than changing the supplier of a dedicated system written by a software house in a different technology!

The system grows with the company!

The smallest implementation that we managed to carry out was in a 2-person company, and the largest in a corporation employing 6,500 people. We often hear the question “Isn’t Salesforce too big for me? I think it’s a combine.” It is true that a lot can be done in Salesforce, but Rome wasn’t built in a day. Many of our implementations start with CRM in its purest form. Here, Salesforce has many cheaper competitors, who, however, when the process needs to be modified, are not able to meet the development requirements, therefore we recommend small organizations to start with the cheapest CRM module, which, as the company grows, can develop into a complex implementation without the need to migrate and change the tool.

How does the incremental introduction of Salesforce in an organization usually look like?

  1. Implementation of a simple CRM (leads, business opportunities, KPI for sales, reporting and managerial dashboards)
  2. Advanced sales processes (forecasting, offering, process individualization, e.g. advanced forms and automation)
  3. Launching customer service / complaint processes – first attempts to obtain a 360-degree customer view
  4. Linking the sales and customer service processes with other processes in the company (including invoicing, accounting)
  5. Connection with backoffice processes
  6. Launching individual industry processes (e.g. shipping management along with the circulation of invoices, waybills, debt collection)

Many customers tell us “we actually have all these processes, but in different systems”. And this is where the magic of Salesforce comes in – these processes can be integrated and operated in one tool, and because the cost of the license is the same all the time, the more processes are operated in one system, the cheaper the solution for the organization is!
